The Courts
There are two court locations you may be dealing with. All family law case hearings are done in Kapolei. The Kapolei courthouse is located across the street from Costco. Make sure to bring quarters for the parking meters. $0.25 gets you 30 minutes of parking. I’d recommend paying for more time than you think you’ll need so you don’t need to run out to add more time to the meter.
The other courthouse where information can be obtained and paperwork filed is on Punchbowl St. There are metered stalls on Punchbowl and Halekauwila St. or reasonably priced parking in this structure.
When you enter the Punchbowl Courthouse immediately after passing through the security checkpoint to your right there will be a help desk. If you would like help sign in on the clipboard and they will help you with paperwork and the process in general. This service is free of charge and the employees I dealt with were helpful.

Court Records
As your case progresses you can get information on what documents have been filed at http://hoohiki.courts.hawaii.gov. It can be useful to see what has been filed by the opposing party. It can also be useful for looking up your case ID.
